Terry L. Bork

Terry L. Bork is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant ChFC). He has served several executive positions in his insurance and financial services career spanning four decades. Past positions include agent and district agent with Northwestern Mutual and General Agent with Mass Mutual.  He also served as President and co-founder of Dawson Financial Services, a member of the Dawson Companies - a diversified financial services firm. Dawson Companies provides a full range of insurance products including group, individual, and property casualty. In addition to insurance, Dawson Russell is a Registered Investment Advisor and Dawson Retirement Plan Services is a full service pension administration firm. Before joining Retirement and Insurance Resources, Terry was president of Strategic Resource Group, an executive benefits firm specializing in deferred compensation plans for public and private companies and banks. His business focus is the design and implementation of executive Carve Out strategies and Deferred Compensation.

Terry’s past community activities include the Planned Giving Council for the Cleveland Orchestra and Cleveland Museum of Art. He also served as a board member for the Cleveland International Piano Competition and the Cleveland Institute of Music. Terry together with his wife Kay are currently involved in several community activities in Naples, Florida including the American Heart Association, the Education Foundation and Make a Wish Foundation. They are Executive Members of the Naples Chamber of Commerce.

Past and present professional affiliations include membership in the Association of Advanced Life Underwriters, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the Society of Financial Services Professionals, and the Estate Planning Council.

Terry graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Finance. Additional interests include history, classical music, craft brewed beers, and impressionist art. He also is an ardent endurance cyclist and member of the Ultra Marathon Cycling Association, participating in races around the country.
